Anonymous Coward User ID: 1302764 United States 05/09/2012 11:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Russian airplane Superjet-100 with 44 passengers on board (8 Russians and 36 Foreigners) may have been hijacked - Indonesian govt Quoting: DoorBert [link to twitter.com] Bullshit ot was not hijacked. Think about it. "dozens of VIP's"? They're the ones who could afford to buy their way into the bunker. So now they go "missing". At the SAME time Michelle Bachman's Whole family obtains swedish citizenship? Rats abandoning ship. But getting rushed and clumsy about it. Kust be near the end. But yet millions of other "elites" are still accounted for...Please, get off the crack train. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 15430038 United Kingdom 05/09/2012 11:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If it had run out of fuel there would have been time for the pilot/s and passengers to get the message out. Likewise if it had simply run into the mountain there'd be locallers hearing so, the 2x mobiles destroyed (look at the A320 french crash into woodland to see the effect of such a crash even at low flight speed), not forgetting the plane would have already been at cloud base height anyway and would have taken avoiding action as it's last flight track is showing. Definitely odd, but accidents in aviation are rarely (if ever) attributed to 1 factor alone. |
DoorBert (OP) User ID: 857877 United States 05/09/2012 11:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In March, a Superjet 100 operated by Russia's Aeroflot Airlines was forced to abandon its flight to Astrakhan, Russia, and return to Moscow because of problems with the undercarriage, according to RIA Novosti. A similar defect in another Aeroflot-operated Superjet 100 plane had to be fixed in Minsk in December. Russia's state-run United Aircraft Corp. said the defect did not affect passenger safety. Why do i say that? Because if you look at my previous post on the crew requesting 6,000 ft would have set it off and taken over the plane to avoid the mountain. If you cross country ski, start with a small country. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 15430038 United Kingdom 05/09/2012 11:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | a.net Local reports here talk about Bogor (about 10miles from Mount Salak), and 3.30pm local time - I happened to be in Bogor at 3.30 local time. I would be surprised if the weather was very adverse as some above have mentioned - It was warm and dry at the foot of the mountains - and there weren't any reports of heavy rain/thunderstorms today. |
