I have a hypothetical question for anyone with amore knowledge than myself. Is it posible for an x5 or greater solarflare to 'peel' away part of venus's atmosphere and hurl it towards earth. If so, what kind of damage could we expect?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14123696 Interesting question. Personally, I think it'd do more damage to venus than any possible outcome it would have for earth. I mean, maybe if it were somehow disintigrated and hurled chunks of venus at us. Other than that, I don't think we'd have anything to worry about in those terms. Here is an interesting thought as well. I know some say Venus is so bright right now because of this "ribbon" we're going through, however, what if it were brighter because "something" is pulling it closer into the sun? Maybe something like another planet in our solar system?
