Why WOULDN'T aliens come here? Give yourself more credit than that...

It seems to be common belief that Earthlings would be of little interest to beings from afar. That we are akin to an anthill, for example.

I would like to propose the opposite;
that we are far more interesting than we give ourselves credit for.

Imagine yourself as an alien species from another world, hovering above planet Earth for a little observation of human beings. What do you see?

Well yeah,you would probably see billions of us, running around like little busy bees in noisy, polluting contraptions rushing from A to B. Working, sleeping, dancing, laughing, crying, urinating, defecating, illness and war, the list goes on and on..

How 'ordinary'...

But if you were to look beyond all of that, you would find a species of most incredible abilities:

We have the ability to sense a change of mood in others, or sense danger to a loved one even at great distances.
We have the ability to leave our mortal shells of flesh and travel to where ever we choose, and return safely to our bodies when desired.
We dream and can experience a different reality within our dreams - like a personal alternate dimension. Test our strengths therein and work on our weaknesses.
We have such strong faith that we believe in what feels right to each of us, allowing next to nothing to break that bond.
We love and we feel and we show compassion.
We can look upon places or people in real-time no matter where they might be at the time.
We can see auras and other energy fields in nature around us, and some possess the ability to use that energy to heal nature or others.
We can even speak to/listen to those who have passed on and access records of the spiritual kind to help guide us.
This list too, goes on and on..

Granted, these abilities for the most part resides in all of us but must be trained and perfected for most to enjoy them.
But aren't we simply amazing?
I think we're pretty damn impressive!
