It should be obvious by now that people don't want gay marriage. Period, end of story. Even in lib states, it's been voted down.

The very small amount of gays are trying to set the agenda for the rest of us.

Anyone limiting the rights of others deserve to die. Period. There is no justification in limiting liberty, freedom or natural rights. I don't care if its over this gay marriage issue or if someone wants to buy raw milk, its wrong to do. Though, as far as gay marriage is concerned.. they really aught to call it something else.. Marriage is already defined as between male/female. We shouldn't have to change the meaning of our language either.

Domestic Violence: GLBT people cannot get domestic violence protection orders against a partner or former partner.

One of my best friends is mayor west from new Paltz ny.
and believe me there was no Saturn cult agenda. The mayor endured constant harrasment and several death threats when he performed gay marriages. while the majority of us working on organizing were hetero, at least early on before it attracted so much attention. We all felt it was the next step in civil rights and had come to a head when Bush was trying to constitutionally ban gay marriage. we felt it our duty to break the ice on an issue that could no longer be ignored. Not just for gay rights but for the rights of all of us to live free of predjudice and discrimination. No matter who you may be. Which, I think, on a fundamental level most Americans believe in strongly.
