Psalm 111:10

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom

the fear in the LORD....what was inside him-- his 'concerns' or 'his' worries....
 Quoting: Sugarelf

hmm

Perhaps it was/is that his 'children' keep fighting and killing each other...all the while doing so as they scream out 'His' name in their efforts then blame their choices on a scapegoat some call 'evil'.

Just a thought.

no, i don't think that was it, although it would have been of great concern and worry to him....

a functioning barrier, not simply a memorial preserver....

that was the true heart of those who put it there....

I wonder if sometimes that apathy is necessary, when coming out of it, your understanding and/or appreciation of truth is even greater. Maybe so he could relinquish that fear.

How is spiritual not present, when everything is fluid? Like dominoes. Or do you mean something else?

What if life is only as practical and purposeful as you mean it to be? There are many daydreamers, here.

I can't grasp it. It all seems like one thing to me. If you think about forgiving, even if you don't believe they should need it, if you're being honest with yourself, you realize you really think they need it. It's why you feel like being forgiving.

If you were so gracious or kind that someone sneezes on your face and it doesn't upset you, then you wouldn't have already felt forgiving towards that person.
If no one troubles you, the thought wouldn't enter your mind.

But how does this apply to spiritual being past and future, but not present?
