We all know that all you truckers won't do anything. I'm not blaming you, but who really wants to get into it with the authorities? The simple fact is that they DO have all the power unless a real revolution occurs, and that's not going to happen. People are too frightened and, let's face it, powerless. The fact is that this ISN'T 1776 when a bunch of citizens took their muskets and were willing to fight with a bunch of British who themselves had only muskets and cannons. In fact, it isn't even 1932, when the Bonus Army, comprised mainly of WWI veterans, were willing to confront Washington and continue to confront it, even when things got violent. (People were killed in 1932, but the veterans regrouped and tried again, albeit as a smaller group.) Back then, people had at least a little bit of chance. Now, let's face it, we don't. So, we can either beat our chests and make impotent noises -- or we can just accept it.

What is it going to hurt as long as you aren't carrying anything you shouldn't? So what if this is one more liberty we are losing. As I said, you can either continue making useless threats, or you can continue just doing your jobs and continue to provide for yourselves, your families, and all the rest of us living in the good new United States of America. (Yes, we all are aware of the the great service you truckers provide, and we appreciate it!)

Anyway, all of us on GLP know that we aren't going to survive for long, anyway. With the way the earth is being polluted, the various threats from the solar system (take your pick: solar flares, CME's, asteroids, E.T.'s); from the earth (earthquakes, volcanoes), man (pollution, nuclear bombs, radiation leaks, World War III), various pandemic threats -- have I left anything out? -- we're going to all die anyway, so who cares if the NWO wants to get their jollies, first?

Seriously, people, why don't we all just chill?

You are right. It is something the be upset about mainly because it is creeping tyranny and is another notch on the heat for the frogs in the pot. I called my reps and the governor about it when it happened. I was pissed.

Honestly, I just read the thread title and saw the same video from the local news station I've watched before and had a knee jerk reaction to others here who have taken pot shots at Tennessee as a whole like we are somehow just letting it happen to anybody anywhere and not doing anything about it and that's just not true. But yeah, it's important and shouldn't dealt with.

I did not see where they were pulling people over for ramdom searches. They are doing the same search they normally do, with big rigs, only the TSA is involved. When they start pulling over minivans full of baseball teams, I will start to worry. Just think of all the new jobs Obummer is creating!! Soon every truck stop and inspection stop will be overflowing with people wearing bright yellow saftey vests and it will take a day longer for truck drivers to deliver cross-country hauls because he will have to stop all the time!! as long as the driver isn't geting paid by the miles, he will make a little more mooolah too (eyeroll)
