if Jesus were alive today I'm rather certain he'd be preaching the same story of tolerance and love. the united states of america would likely be at the bottom of his participation list, he wouldn't be capitalist, in fact the only time you see him get mad in the bible is when people are practicing capitalism. if you think god was ever on americas side, or that the bible teaches intolerance, you have learned absolutely nothing in your lifetime, what a waste.

Perhaps you should read God's word as opposed to spewing out fantasies about a Christ you've created in your own mind that's just like you. sorry i have a BA in religious histories and have made a career in the interpretation of the text that you obviously know precisely nothing about. i even get paid to teach study courses and baptist institutions. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." this means that man exists because only of Gods will, without the word of God man would not exist at all. ffs man. the bible is not an absolute or 1 size fits all. if you don't recognize that it's a compilation of celestial events preceding even egyptian times you really ought to do some reading. if you take the bible as absolute you have severely limited the expanse wealth of knowledge that free will has given you.
