Quoting: bendinglight I've never seen an earthquake over in Eastern Texas before. Weird It is NOT common for East Texas. There have been some minor EQs around the DFW metro in the past year, due to fracking from the huge amount of gas drilling and/or increased activity within the Balcones Fault Line. Check this link: [link to earthquaketrack.com] As for East Texas, I don't know how much fracking might be in play over there, but I would consider any seismic activity to be a concern due to New Madrid, which should be considered one of the most important topics to Americans. TPTB would benefit immensely from the opening of that waterway and the (literal) division of the geographic United States. |
