I'm with brief on this one, sometimes you're better off keeping your mouth shut. Some of us have prepared for what ever emergency comes along. That, in my opinion, is the best policy. A sustainable food source is always a good idea, and a way to defend it is a necessity. Advertising what you have is not a great idea, unless you plan on feeding everyone.

I don't think you have gotten the point of this thread. It has nothing to do with preparations; it has everything to do with the mindset of America.

If we haven't had the balls to stand up to the govt. that is enslaving us and taking more and more rights from us, day by day, then why in the world would we rise up later???

I don't care if it's a Russian, Chinese, alien or DHS invasion - most of us will lay our guns down because we value our physical life. WE ARE A NATION OF SHEEPLE that resembles nothing that looks like the founders or 'the greatest generation'.

How many of you will actually risk your life? As a vet, I know I can and would, but I've lost faith in U.S.

Fantastic thread, OP. Thank you.

I've said this many times, but in a different way. You've summed it up nicely!

It's the same argument that I have with the "I'm going to bury my guns" crowd. If you're so scared that you'll bury, you'll be too scared to dig them up. They still just don't get it!

I'm going to chill and watch this thread. I wonder how many keyboard warriors will come along with their chests all puffed out. lol

Thanks for your post! I don't think we'll get assaulted by the puffers or the hiders. The concept isn't a tough one to grasp; what is tough is that people have a decision to make and that decision should be understood as binding.

Tea Party Patriots, Libertarians, Dems, Repubs whatever - are our beliefs purely dogma or do we really stand for what we believe and tout around town? I ask myself these questions and I feel it keeps me grounded to what matters.

In the Air Force we had 3 core values. "Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence in All We Do". I truly meant that when I yelled it with my flight every morning before PT. Integrity, Integrity, Integrity - it's what our nation is missing as a whole.rant

The main problem is that the dark cabal were smart enough to hide long enough, that they got powerful enough to make it illegal for us to gather and agree to have a r3v0100t1on.

Now it's too late... WAAAaaay too late.

You can't get 50 people together because you will all be killed.

If you can't get 50 people together, you sure as shit can't get the 500,000 people together that you'd need.

Look at nazi Germany? Nobody put up the slightest fight.

The people behind the nazis are the exact same people who are behind the globalization now and the nazification of Germany was *JUST A TEST*

All that shit that happened was just an experiment concocted by thinks tanks for the POWERS THAT BE. Same with Russian and Chinese revolutions.

Same with North Korea, etc...

People have been so clueless for so long, it's like the dark cabal already won 50 years ago.

By the way, it's vatican, the rothschilds, the rockefellers and a few other players... Jesuits, chemical engineers and old families.

Totally. Thank you for your post. I love, rather cringe, when people throw the American Rev statistics that it only took a couple of percent to fight the British - we'd be lucky if a couple percent of people defended themselves and the country if the SHTF.

Like I said before, if the PTB just let things go the way they are now - we'll be handed over to the UN anyway in due time. The cabal has won the battle but not the war. People are waking up through asking themselves honest questions like you, me and millions of others are asking themselves. It's about commitment after that.

I'm from New Orleans; I lived though Katrina. We fucking ran for the hills, buddy, and let the morons duke it out in the hysteria.

I can tell you for a fact that the national guard went house to house confiscating guns..google it. We gave them up willingly so the burglars and criminals could roam without impedance.

It's been done before and will be done again. Thanks for the post; I'm glad you brought that up because it's very fucking pertinent.

Katrina was a flood. Nobody wanted to shoot anyone. So their minds were unprepared for gun confiscation. But, the cat is out of the bag now. If anyone wants to test the "behind every blade of grass" theory please go ahead. Obama has been the best gun and ammo salesman in history. Maybe it was reverse psychology. Has anyone ever thought of that. Every man I know has an assault rifle and a pistol. If another country wants to invade......bring it!

I agree, most people don't want to shoot someone, but in regards to Katrina, everybody knew of the rampant looting going on - even the cops, Natl. Guard, etc... They obeyed their orders, like good soldiers will, even in the face of IMMINENTLY endangering the citizens they're supposed to be protecting.

Everyone I knew had pistols, shotguns etc..on our license plates it says 'sportsman's paradise' - so you know we're packing, but that didn't stop us from handing them over when asked. Thanks for your post; btw good point about the reverse psychology but I think Katrina gun confiscation was more of a test for something larger.

Sure the military have psyop divisions, but those divisions usually act ad-hoc (on-the-fly) with flyer drops - direct campaigns I mean. Reverse psychology just isn't on their menu, but the CIA is a different story altogether. Who knows who pulls the strings anymore, but one thing's for sure - it sure aint U.S.

It's coming OP. I think the catalyst will be hunger. When the people realize the politicians and bankers have stolen everything all hell will break loose. I expect local politicians to be tried and hung first, then I think certain states will withdraw from the union, then it's anybody's guess. I don't believe the politicians can survive the economic and moral bankruptcy they have created.

Economic collapse, similar to what happened in Argentina. Unlike most countries we are large, armed to the teeth, and split along multiple lines liberal vs conservative, urban vs suburban, PC vs nonPC, and there are many more. What do you think happens when China wont send anymore trinkets to Walmart and there is no food in the local stores. It can and will get ugly real fast.

I hope that you don't live in the 'burbs with those panels on your roof because you'll be target numero uno. If you're in the country you'll have a different theoretical fight:

I live in the country - you may as well. We typically live few and far in-between. Can you depend on your neighbors to come to your aid if said theoretical invading army is rounding up weapons from civilians?

Again, if we haven't come together yet as a nation and we are all about 'me' - how can we ever consider that WE'D prevail?

You my friend are much better off, obviously, than the average American which makes you a target. In fact, you make my point perfectly - the 'me' syndrome. The question still remains:

If we haven't come together yet as a nation and we are all about 'me' - how can we ever consider that WE'D prevail?
 Quoting: DirkaFaShirka

I'm better off because I'm not like the average in debt selfish American...I have my small army and family, and that's all I'm going to be responsible for...

Agreed. The mental and physical condition it takes to fight is great indeed and Americans are by and large totally unprepared.

Look at Waco or Ruby Ridge: The PTB will cut off water, power and nail your ass down with sniper fire. How many Americans really have the fortitude to not surrender to an invading army - whoever it is? How many Americans truly value freedom over life itself?

So many proud Americans are quick to quote the Japanese general - the blade of grass thing, but unless they've seen real battle, they have no idea what they're in for. WAR IS UGLY.

The next day they've sunk back into their comfortable admitted slavery with no plan on action or protest. For some reason we've begun to think that the war will come to us and be in our face - it won't.

Exactly! We depend way too much on the govt. and a fake dollar. We've come a very far way away from sound currency and individual freedom which is why we're grossly unprepared for TSHTF.

In fact, the PTB, have made illegal trading with gold or raw foods - so what happens then in the case of a real emergency? I think the video below is extremely fucking pertinent (and to the point). Enjoy:

There is no "we" only "I". The only answer is in each mirror. At some point you would think to stop hitting yourself in the head with a hammer especially since citizens allow this criminal activity to take place by consent. It their fault, They continue to allow it, take part of it. Every time they pump gas in their in the tank that is pumping blood. They support the death of children.
