DirkaFaShirka (OP) User ID: 7615963 United States 05/10/2012 04:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Americans in general are so fat that would need a haystack to hide behind.. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12894939 I dont think there is a clump of grass on the planet big enough to hide the average merkan. Agreed. The mental and physical condition it takes to fight is great indeed and Americans are by and large totally unprepared. Look at Waco or Ruby Ridge: The PTB will cut off water, power and nail your ass down with sniper fire. How many Americans really have the fortitude to not surrender to an invading army - whoever it is? How many Americans truly value freedom over life itself? So many proud Americans are quick to quote the Japanese general - the blade of grass thing, but unless they've seen real battle, they have no idea what they're in for. WAR IS UGLY. Quoting: DirkaFaShirka I don't care if it's a Russian, Chinese, alien or DHS invasion - most of us will lay our guns down because we value our physical life. As a vet, I know I can and would, but I've lost faith in U.S. I agree with u 100% op most of our citizens haven't served everyone is out for number 1 their is no we. I'm just tired of hearing people that don't have the foggiest idea about the costs of war, puff their chest up and say crap like, "we'll get er done if they come round these here parts". If there's anything that history has taught us it should be this: To control us it doesn't take brute force - only control of pertinent resources. Some of us have prepared for what ever emergency comes along. That, in my opinion, is the best policy. A sustainable food source is always a good idea, and a way to defend it is a necessity. Advertising what you have is not a great idea, unless you plan on feeding everyone. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage.
