Re: Earthquake - 3.1 Indiana
They're not common, like California or Japan common...

but we're known to get some every now and then.

Think there were a pair of 4.0+ back in 2008 in the same day... haven't had a "big" one in my lifetime. I'm pretty calm, but if there was a huge quake, I'd probably piss myself...then fall on the ground.

I doubt anything comes of this, but hey... just because it never has, doesn't mean it never will.

I'm surprised no one has started the "New Madrid" battle cry yet...

I felt something around the time of the 3.1 happening, but didn't think Earthquake, because it wasn't enough to put any thought into it. Did hear a noise like something "exploded" for lack of a better term around that time too, but I just figured my idiot relatives next door threw something in their bonfire that exploded. They said they didn't, so I dunno...weird. Wouldn't think a 3.1 would cause much of anything being nearly 100 miles NE of where it was...but who knows.

If anything, I'll tell myself those things are connected...then I'll only be lying to myself, and I won't feel like I'm hearing and feeling things that aren't there.

Should probably lay off the
bonghit

...but I doubt it.
