You know that Ms. Hargitay is Jayne Mansfield's daughter don't you? Jayne died in an auto accident, it was very gruesome, she was decapitated. I remember seeing the picture in the paper. (That was back in the days when papers actually REPORTED the news, instead of inventing it or spinning the information like they do now).


Actually, she was not decapitated, that is a common misconception. The top of her head was sheared off and her blonde wig was in the back seat and not her head. You might want to check out findadeath.com for more details.

It is interesting however, that she was friends with Anton LaVey. Rumor has it he put some sort of curse on her. This is merely speculation of course. One positive outcome of her gruesome death is that all tractor-trailer trucks now come equipped with a "Mansfield Bar" to prevent further accidents like that from happening.
