Pauline was a weirdo. And she ended up whoring herself out to the guys who brought her down. So retarded for sure. she was also an ignorant, small minded, uneducated, racist neo-nazi bitch. She makes Sarah Palin look intelligent! |

This is half the problem, people see someone like Pauline as a racist etc.... That's because that's the way the media portrayed her. If you had ever actually seen or spoken to her in person, you would have seen "Ron Paul". You don't have to have a university education to be educated. Living life educates you more than someone telling you what they want you to know. Her main point was assimilation, not separation. The immigrants, like the one's we had during the 50's ("wogs" etc) came to Australia & made it their home country, they learnt the language & melded into the Australian way of life. Nowadays the immigrants form their own communities and live a separate life to the country they have adopted as their homes. If you come to Australia, you become an Aussie, don't expect it to be the place you left behind. Seriously folks. If you wanted what you left why did you leave??? |

Sorry, his views lead to slavery, not freedom. I think many of Ron Paul's views call for personal responsibility...something people are afraid of in this country. I find it amazing that the same people who complain bitterly about others using food stamps or welfare do NOTHING in their own communities to help the less fortunate. If people helped each other LOCALLY, we wouldn't have the opportunity for the government to step in and 'help' with their conditions and rules. The whole world revolves around them. Quoting: teraustralis My father was an American and my brother was born there. I have two kinds of experience with the Americans, ones who have travelled the world are great, but the ones who have never even left their home towns are insular. An example... when I was a teenager I went with my dad to the US for a holiday. My cousins had never travelled and only knew their own country. I was asked whether I lived in a city or in the bush. I decided to test their knowledge and strung them along with a real furfie (lie). I told them we didn't have cities like the US, we all lived on properties(farms) and I rode a Kangaroo to school. Well they were absoultely fascinated by this and kept asking me more questions. I eventually told them I was joking and explained that Australia is pretty much like the US, but with less people. One major difference is humor, Aussies love sarcasim, and American's just don't seem to get it! generalizations never are quite correct. IMHO |
