my wife has seen an incredibly bright, stationary light in the western sky on her walk home from work for a couple of months now. it's stands out from the ordinary as she's made this walk every day for two years, it's brighter than a planet or star, is silent, constant and stationary as she watches. i say "as she watches" because it's not always in the same place from evening-to-evening. until last night. after months of seeing this EVERY day, it seemingly disappeared last night. she may have spotted it as a pin-point of light, it seemed to be where she had seen it previously; but it was so faint as to be barely visible.
