KlLLUMINATI User ID: 11546392 United States 05/11/2012 07:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So I've had a toothache for about the last 3 weeks. I've been to the dentist 3 times in the 2 weeks and they've done a cleaning, x-rays, TMJ testing, and bite adjusting. He says he thinks there's nothing wrong with the tooth. It's a crown, and the pain isn't bad. 1 300mg tablet of aspirin is enough to keep the pain at bay for 8 hours or so, but I'm frustrated and I don't want to take aspirin for the rest of my life. Quoting: Doomish I've read a few remedies here: Clive oil, colloidal silver, bleach (yikes!), cocaine (lol). Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks GLP! The pain eventually goes away (or the body just becomes acclimated to the pain - opposite side of the same coin). Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15526347 I guess. InCogNeatOh User ID: 15720525 Australia 05/11/2012 07:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Get some colloidal silver, liquid form. Put a tablespoon of it in half a glass of water, or take a mouthful neat. Take a mouthful but don't swallow - position the mouthful of colloidal silver in the sore area and just let it hang around for a few mins. Spit it out and repeat. The colloidal silver is a very strong antibiotic, antifungal and antimicrobial agent, and it penetrates the infection (which is what is causing the toothache). It doesn't take too many of these rinses to kill the microrganisms causing the infection under the tooth, and any swelling goes down, and the toothache goes away. To stop the toothache coming back though, you will need to lay off pretty much with anything that promotes the growth of the bacteria that lead to toothaches - which is anything with refined sugar in it. Clove oil also works in relieving pain, but it does so by numbing pain, rather than killing the bacteria causing it. |

Alright buddy you gonna think this is crazy but go to a local gas station and buy a couple of those little BC powder packets. Pour the BC on top of tooth that hurts and leave it there ( kinda like having a dip of snuff ). It will taste like shit but it will numb the tooth. Its an old grandmas remedy but it works great. Doomish (OP) User ID: 8052347 United States 05/12/2012 03:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Dude, I have had a crown AND a root canal on one of my molars. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15914434 It still flares up once and awhile. I've been considering having it pulled. ^^ This ^^ The dentist originally planned to do a root canal on mine, but he decided the root was in good enough condition to keep. I've researched root canals at length and have read horror stories of people saying they had tolerable pain BEFORE a root canal and totally INTOLERABLE pain after. Many of them opted to just have te tooth extracted. Good luck to you. It sounds like you know just how I'm feeling. Trying to bring GLP together.
