Hence, even if it were possible for Carbon-12 to radioactively decay into a Carbon-7 isotope with 1 Neutron and 6 Protons, then the Carbon-7 isotope would be even more unstable than the Carbon-8 isotope, and would Radioactively Decay faster than 1 sextillionth of a second.
