No but seriously that is not always true , what about a "dyslexic " High average IQ that just cant see the letters correctly , but maybe is brilliant in other ways . You are making too broad a generalization, there are many facets to intelligence . I suck at spelling but when it comes to math music or mechanical things it makes sense to me. English was just so boring I love to read but hate grammar and writing.

Although you can spell good I bet if your heater or air conditioner broke your "stupid" ass wouldn't be able to trouble shoot or fix it. So reconsider that spelling is not the way to intelligence either you have it or you don't. And the kid that lives across from me is legally half retarded and he drives fine.
