Would it be right to be this spiteful?
Made a couple of "friends" over the web about two months ago and really hit it off with them. Things were going great until drama started to pick up between us, and eventually I had to back away from both the friendships.

In any case, lately they were incredibly apologetic for said thing and we sort of went back to being friends...then it turns out that all they ended up doing was try to pull a cruel joke on me (and a bad one at that)

In any case, I lost respect for both of them. The dude of the lot is a batshit crazy person, and his girlfriend (the other friend) is also as crazy as him. BUT she is also an illegal immigrant from Mexico.

Been thinking about reporting her number to immigration, what say you GLP? 5a

I'd probably just let it go, mainly because you have no proof about anyone you meet here.

I had a similar experience making a few friends when I was registered user on another site. I learned to just stay on the surface, not worth the aggravation of trying to trust someone you've never met. Its too bad, to, because there are some really interesting people on these boards. You live & learn, the surface interaction is fine for me, and I value the posters here for their insight & knowledge... but I prefer real life friends/drama to internet friends/drama.

Maybe your right. Really pissed me off that two people would go through all the trouble of trying to enjoy someone elses 'downfall' as they put it.

Horray for blocking numbers banana2

Whosoever avenged Cain was avenged seven times...No.. it is never right to revenge, it will come back on you seven times over. Vengeance belongs only to God, not to us. Forgive them and ask the Lord Jesus to change their hearts.

This is Very Correct

If someone Wrongs you the best thing to do is forgive them and forget all about it

Otherwise you will swell up with Hate every time you think about them and That stress can make someone very ill.

I'm not saying let people walk all over you ether, just If someone wrongs you badly, Understandable you may want nothing to do with them any more and that is Healthy as well

Just don't hold onto grievances

Agreed with all of this. If you allow people to get close to you you'll eventually get burnt. Live and learn.

I too, like to keep it simple when playing the internet. I have made some great lifelong friends from online gaming. It's funny I made those friends over a decade ago. I find it a bit more difficult to open up to people nowadays when I'm gaming or internetting. Making friends anywhere was a lot easier to do when I was 21 as opposed to 33. And all these years of gaming have made me somewhat of an elitist and If I'm on a mission and someone on my team is fucking off, they're gone, or I'm gone. More keeping it simple, lol.

Just let it go, people come and go and these were just internet friends. It's much more difficult to be burnt by a friend you've known in real life.
