Being an FBI agent, he knows the value of the Internet. If he indeed does have information "we the people" need to know, that will be his likely avenue. He surely knows if he goes to the news that it won't go anywhere and he will be heart attacked. Hopefully he can get it into the right channels to go viral before they capture him.

But since he's presumably in the mountains now, I kinda doubt it.
