Why did black people evolve less than white people?

No race out evolved another but we each have our strengths and weaknesses.
African greater strength stamina natural immunity to malaria susceptibility to sickle cell anemia.
European increased intelligence greater propensity to mental illness.
But Africans are not dumb by any stretch of the imagination so don't take this that way.
This is just on average.
There are stupid Europeans and genius Africans as well as very athletic Europeans and scrawny Africans.

Case in point: Two weeks ago my boss hired a black man to work beside me as a small engine mechanic. He had the same experience that I do. Yet he could not do more than replace parts he was told to replace. His mind could not go further than "replace that thing that broke". What was needed was someone who could find out why that thing broke and not only replace the broken part, but fix what caused it to break in the first place. He could handle tools just as well as I can. But his mind could not compete at all. So he is fired. He was not the same animal and could not work on an equal level with me or the owners of the company. He tried, but was not up to it.

We were expecting a wolf that plays fetch and we got one that howls at the moon.

My ancestors had to plan ahead and think to survive. His ancestors merely had to pluck fruit from trees and poke an animal with a pointy stick to survive. So we have different abilities and no matter how much you ignore it, we are not the same creature. Just like the wolf and dog.

Just popping in here to five star this. Haven't even read the post, so it may be facetious for all I know. But I like the title. Simplistic but true. Don't wish to read all the bleeding heart nonsense though, so in and out, as it were.

Leaving aside all the political baggage on the topic of race, I have been pondering on the different branches of our species for many years and this is my opinion.

Each physically distinct 'race' evolved to exist in harmony with its habitat and natural selection ensured that they remained strong and healthy.

Different habitats throw up difficulties peculiar to that environment and Mankind evolved and developed solutions accordingly.

The population in Africa had entirely different problems to overcome than those living around the ice sheet and their descendants down through South East Asia and in the US, prior to their destruction, but still remain in South America.

In between the ice and the tropics, in Europe, the people were trapped by the ice as it moved south, peaking around 18000 years ago, which must have had a very dramatic effect on their evolution in a harsh temperate climate. Existing in neither tropical or Arctic conditions, they were 'All Rounders'. I believe that we, Caucasians, are not the dumbest or brightest, strongest or weakest but are generalised do it alls, being able to cope reasonably well with all but the most extreme conditions.

By crossing different races, the characteristics used to make the new individual are random, therefore it seems we can either get an improvement or a degeneration. There are many highly successful mixed race athletes, but there must also be very large numbers of people with physical and, maybe, mental and intellectual difficulties from this process.

For example, I suffer from impacted wisdom teeth which my dentist informs me is the result of mixed race ancestry. One with large teeth and one having a small jaw. The other way round would produce gaps between the teeth.

Domesticated people worldwide are generally going to be poorer creatures than their original 'wild' ancestors, regardless of race and I believe that the remaining natural populations of Humans should be cherished and protected as much as the biodiversity of the rain fortress.

As for arguing about being more evolved, try abandoning your heated home and clean food and water and try to survive anywhere in the undeveloped world. You may find the answer.

Personally, I think the South East Asians are the smartest.
