What is the deal with Orion? I heard he's a black belt

So this is a picture of the great Orion.

So we have Betelgeuse, king of the juice,
and Bellatrix, queen of the bells.

Is it just me or is this a dirty joke?
I know it must be because Orion is one of the only constellations mentioned in the bible.
God tells job to take off his belt (Job 38:31)
before telling him his own right hand
can save him. (job 40)

And I do remember reading the divine comedy where there was supposed to be some hidden punch line in the bible.
But almost every religion likes orion - from Shiva to the Egyptians, and the men in black. Its also mentioned to Odysseus when he visits the underworld (the river stix), and its mentioned as being in the sky in Virgil's Aeneid.

In an interesting note, the moon's orbit seems to cross into his outstretched hand once a month.

I've been trying to figure out more about the history behind this giant, but my parents dont seem to know anything about it.
