Look how ugly of a car it is. There is no way you can compare the performance of this car with a Subaru, your nuts. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14104911 you dont know the difference between a sparkplug and a buttplug, so you assume the more expensive car must be better. SLAM THAT CLAM |

My vehicle will go places your 4wd rattle traps can't even think of going. I get unbelievably great milage and it's so fucking quiet, you can hear the birds sing while it's running. Furthermore, I can drive my vehicle with my eyes closed and no hands on the wheel. So I want you all to shut the fuck up...I ride a horse! |

Why should I be mad? Stupid comment. I have been driving 4x4's all my life....and to hear you get enthused about some tiny shoebox sized AWD car?? You would think you had SOME kind of clue....but it is clear you don't. 150HP and an uber tiny 2.0 liter engine? 140 ft. lbs of torque??? My Kawasaki bike puts out more than that! ...and you don't know what real handling is if you say that car handles. Clearly you have never driven a car that has REAL handling capabilities. Fine as a commuter / beater car / purely functional point A to point B car....nothing more. ...same junkbox class car as a Honda Civic. Meh. You don't know the first thing about 4x4's or REAL AWD. Pure crapbox. [link to www.suzukiauto.com] Last Edited by Useless Cookie Eater on 05/14/2012 07:52 PM |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 7570540 United States 05/19/2012 07:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | suburu is lucky to get through a mud puddle or 2 inches of snow. Quoting: SOFA-KING-COOL suzuki lets the driver decide when to lock it in 4x4, and has traction control, stability control, 6 speed manual trans Haha, Subaru's system doen't need all that - I've kept moving on a forest track where the only other thing that made it was a Land-Rover Discovery, and that needed to lock it's diff. suburu is all automatic everything for know-nothing old ladies to feel safe driving. My Outback is peppy but still good gas mileage - I have no issue with the mechanicals. I actually bought it because I liked the rubber mats and the dog cage in the back. What I don't like is the lack of visibility and the fabric on the seats (making me wish I had sprung for the leather). The seats are very light fabric and even the smallest crumb makes a spot the size of a quarter. Thank God for Spot Shot. |

I would give you 20M of forward momentum before that thing sinks into the muddy ground because it has no ground clearance. You, sir, are a FourWheelDriveTard. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15756389 Maybe its because I can read or whatever, but I am pretty sure the thread says car, not suv. |
wisc_natureboy User ID: 16315127 United States 05/19/2012 11:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Agreed! Subaru's permanent viscous coupled AWD system rules all. Me and my Impreza Wagon have been across ground where full-fat 4x4s by BMW and Volvo struggled badly. The 'Forester' will go just about anywhere. Yep, My Outback pulled a friends F-250 out of the Wisconsin River. And if on the off-chance I do get stuck, I have chains, cables and a manual 5,000 lb. come-along. I go where 4x4 pickups dream about going! ;-`) OP is ignorant to badmouth Sube's, while the Suzuki is impressive it pales when compared to the Outback. We all breathe the same air. .-.. --- ...- . / .- .-.. .-.. |
