I also see people saying "nuke it". I have been thinkjng about this possibility and its very risky.
That said, in theory its possible, but one nuke wouldnt do the job. I think it will take at least 3 simultaneous nukes going off around the core. The three nukes carefullt placed around the core would implode the core and create another critiicality. But if the material wasnt immediately neutralised by the blast then it could make things worse.
Mind you, could it be any worse?! If we are facing extinction then what options do we have?
Its a tough call thata for sure, refferendum anyone?
