I haven't learned much from music, but I love anything tuneful, and a lot of the shit I like ends up in adverts etc.

DLH without a doubt

There is a young group out of Louisville, KY that I just caught a couple of weeks ago. Their name is: VESSEL.

VESSEL seems like a great group of young men -- their music blues oriented, instrumental, and vibrant. Not heavy or metal or 'rated R.' It was a joy to hear them -- saw them at Hard Rock Cafe as they won their regional division for the national Hard Rock contest. Though they didn't win the international contest, nonetheless I enjoyed the show they put on and intend to see them again when they star on May 30 during 'Waterfront Wednesday' downtown on May 30 in Louisville.

If you can, have a look. I think the whole of them are musicians from the stars of heaven. Real stuff...direct from spirit!

I'm going with Wu-Tang Clan. Dead serious. Many of their lesser known artists and off-shoots are brilliant (not to say the major players of the Wu are not). Some people think of Wu and instantly think of ODB... but c'mon, son, there is no father to his style

also if dead people count, then you can research on Sufi masters that were also musicians, doesnt get more enlightened than that I guess.
