can I ask a question, why Greek people has still not done more than we have seen?

when a human being has been left without food he should turn into an animal, I'd have already expected a huge revolution instead...........

It's not that easy as it seems my friend, the foreign interests are big in the region and the simple people can't do that much to change the situation.

There are not many people without food here, yes things are hard compared to the standards we have been used too and they are robbing us in daylight with taxation and wage cuts, but there isn't a food shortage or something here. Not doubting that there are people of the lower class and immigrants facing severe daily problems with this crisis, but tbh the Greeks have not starved yet, if something like that would have happened a revolution would have taken place no doubt. Greek family is operating a bit different than your typical western family and there is unlimited solidarity in this dept, plus lots of Greeks are growing their own food and stuff.

Not for many a decade. Imported consumer deflation will keep the masses distracted with cheap iPods and such like for quite a while to come.

Yep, after the US elections we will see a lot, but i'm not sure that we will see a peoples revolution, everything will be staged by foreign interests and secret services and in the end they will provoke a civil unrest here.
Unfortunately Greece has a very important geopolitical position on the map and since the creation of this state the big players never let Greece do what is best for her people and provoked civil wars, military coups etc. when they felt that their interests in Greece were threatened. Greece can never be totally free and do what she wants, one of the first English ambassadors in Greece called Lyons, said this in the 1850's.

Troika is coming back to Athens these days to check the the austerity measures the Greek govt decided. They supposedly had disagreements according to the press and thats why they left the last time.

Doing good my friend, a little sick today but not too much!
They voted the measures hands down in the previous 5 occasions so something big has to happen to not vote them again imo. Judges and prosecutors are making some noises that these measures are beyond unconstitutional, but so they were the last time too. Will see soon about it.

Only thing is certain though, even IMF admitted that the numbers don't add up and the measures have no positive effect, we need a big haircut again and there are disagreements between IMF and EU about this. If things remain as they are now, IMF wants out.
