50 billion euro to rescue Greek banks unless recession worsens

They want to use 50 billion to prop up greek banks?!

How does a state that is bancrupt even entertain such a thought?

I mean, if the greek banks go bancrupt the situation could not get worse then now?!

State doesn't entertain anything, state has been hijacked, not governed by Greeks or for the Greeks, that's obvious. Banks in Greece have almost taken more money the last 3 years than they lend out. I think there is case of the Greek banking system being the toxic dump of Europe, can't explain it any other way, in every memorandum they grab about 50BN euros when the bad loans currently are about 50BN euros too.

Thats is karma for Samaras for doing the biggest kolotouba in recent Greek history, he did everything Merkel told him to do like a good puppy and now she will throw him away him to the dogs. You can't escape karma. chuckle

Some people from eurogroup are saying that the tranche will be given in smaller tranches some say not, lots of rumors and disinfo coming out.

I think so too, he betrayed everything he was saying for 2 years to become a pm and when this happened he just gave them everything too, positive press coverage that he got in Germany recently is no by chance, he gave the keys of the country, only difference now is that the US interests want the keys back, lol.

EU budget talks failwoohoo
[link to www.europeanvoice.com]

New talks have tentatively been scheduled for Tuesday (13 November) - just hours before a deadline for the adoption of the current draft budget. But officials and diplomats say that a deal by Tuesday appears unlikely.

The break-down casts a shadow over a special EU summit on 22-23 November where national leaders are supposed to agree the EU's multi-annual financial framework for 2014-20.

Agreed, austerity is starting to hit UK and they don't earn as much as Germany from this EU thingy, they are doing the best to protect their people and i fully agree with this, wish our own tards here done the same for a change. This is news actually for more than a month, at least i learned about it at that time, but MSM managed to keep this undercover for all this time. EU is doomed if the new budget won't pass. Great news!

I think the talk that UK will not accept the budget is known from the summer. Of course no one talks about that. EU is doomed for sure. Now the thing is what Merkel will do about it. Problems with the UK problems with the IMF (i.e. US) problems with France. I read somewhere today that Merkel thinks to place some people to check the course of the France economy.

French economy is seriously doomed, read the article the other day who was calling French economy the elephant in the room, no one is talking about it loudly yet, but there's plenty of doom in there. If France won't play ball, Angela will check them, very interesting times. You can add World Bank (currently China) in the problems list. Didn't know budget was news since summer, most of the people are oblivious about it.
