Greetings all!
Cyprus situation is getting worse by the day. I believe the money "laudry" there must be huge.
Now back on greece.. with an SOS subject
On Monday the greek parliament will discuss an "urgent" law
which changes the States sovereignty, in order to meet the demands of the Memorandum. This law will make it clear that "No State property will be excluded from the seizure by our creditors, in the event of default of payment".
This includes everything the Greek State owns (land, islands, businesses, archaeological places I guess, or land we know or suspect there is gus and oil and the mines etc), as well as everything that the Bank of Greece owns! (see the States gold etc)
According to the ordinance "neither the beneficiary member State (Greece) or the Bank of Greece, nor any of their respective assets are excluded because of sovereignty or for any other reason, from the jurisdiction, seizure-conservative or enforcement with respect to any legal action or proceeding relating to the contract modification.
