as we continue to act and think along the same specific intention, we get closer and claser to reaping what we have sown.

oour faith is the intention of our salvation when we die, ie pass into another state of being.

our "works" are our response to our faith.

It is about telling the truth about the Gospel and doing what the Holy Spirit tells you to do, but not for pride or earning man's approval when you do. These pitiful churches are doing a poor job of helping people make that connection with the Father.

No one who ever Loved Christ Jesus with a True Heart, even as a child, will be lost or condemned. This Witness I was Given... But, until you surrender control of your life Unto The Father, you are not In Relationship With HIM. Until you Know HIM, have Been In HIS Presence; you are not Born-Again.

Takes action to become Born-Again.

Until you are Born-Again, per Ezekiel 36, you won't/can't KNOW what God's Will IS.

I think I figured it out ...

Salvation is based solely on believing in what Jesus did at the cross - he spilled his blood for all of us sinners = Faith. So now that I believe in him, I am assured of everlasting life in heaven. Woo-hoo praise the Lord.

Rewards are based on Works. Works = stuff you do because you're so in luv with Him. So if I help out a fellow Christian who is down and out (That you do to least of my brothers - you do unto me. Matthew 25:40) or If I bring an unbeliever to the Lord, I get rewards either here or in heaven.

Faith goes beyond what you perceive in the heart and mind. It is about worshiping and obeying the Father in spirit and in truth. It about enduring all things, good and bad, that purge self out of us and made us more like Him.

Also, we are not to look for rewards while here. While blessings may happen, our reward comes on judgment day.

There is a passage that speaks to that; but sorry, don't have it handy right now.

The gist though, is don't ask for that. God has His time table.
