WELL? Oil futures closed below $94 a barrel Tuesday as worries over a political stalemate in Greece and mixed global economic data weighed on demand prospects, and as the dollar extended its rally to a 12th-straight session. [ link to www.marketwatch.com] BUT WHATS UP WITH..4.49 A GALLON IN SOCAL? [ link to fuelgaugereport.aaa.com] Gas is so expensive, in spite of oil being fairly low priced compared to a high of around $140 pbl in 2008, because the value of the dollar is falling through the floor. Oil is traded globally in USD after all. Gas isnt expensive. Your dollar is just buying less and less.
