where did they state hate? the sin is what is hated by god not the person. god hates no one but the sin

I have been deeply wounded by the judgemental and hypocritical nature of christendom. And I have seen so many deeply loving and believing people suffer from the same hypocracy.

Someone very dear to me has just revealed to me that they are gay, (even though I've known for many years). The things that their so-called brothers and sisters in Christ said to him when he came out to them were so devastating that it has the potential of killing his natural curiosity and desire to know his creator that he always had.

It would be different if people who called themselves Christians were also free from sin.....but they are NOT. So their finger-pointing is causing many, many people to fall away in despair and resentment. Understandably so.

It is good to fall away from christendom. Very, very good. But if it causes even one person to hate God for the behavior of the hypocrites, then on whose heads does the blame rest?

Christian conservatives often have this fake idea they are 'right', but when you look at all the childabuse within these communities, the selfdoubt, the hypocrisy you know its a fake thing.

I much rather have a selfdoubting atheist being good to other people, then yet another evangelical being way out of line. That simple it is.

That is just a way for people like you to label people that dont agree with you.

Actions don't matter lest ye should boast about not being a murderer, idolater, adulteror, liar, fornicator, thief, unbeliever, etc and make out that you're better because of your actions. Behavior and actions don't save you from hell, being a good person don't save you from hell, Good people are going to be in Hell for not believing in Jesus, and murderers and thieves are going to be in Heaven if they do believe in Jesus.

That's the INSANITY of Christianity.
