I am a 58 male and most of what you say is true.

Two daughters 21 and 26 do not like me.

And there is reallly no reason for this except what I imagine my ex did to them--verbally.

And yes, I paid half of all expenses and daughters were unaware.

lol It is interesting how people judge without knowing anything. Why wouldn't you ask me first what my art was about? Why wouldn't people ask me if my life was 'selfish', rather than going off half-cocked with knee-jerk judgement?

I work at an art studio for people with mental health issues. I also volunteer at another art studio that has a food bank, so there are no 'starving artists'. I am told several times a week that I am making a difference in people's lives. I don't do it to receive this praise, but to be of service.
I love kids and teach them art as well. I just have chosen not to have my own. I am lucky that I live where I do, and I have had the choice.
I am very community oriented. Part of the art that I do is to construct giant puppets to use in parades and community celebrations, which create communal culture.... as opposed to consuming corporate culture which is what tv shows and films are all about.
I already mentioned that I don't sleep around. I like having deep connections. I could get sex anytime I wanted, but I am picky. Again, I am lucky that I live where I do to have that choice.
I am thankful for the life that I lead. Are you? If not you might want to practice feeling grateful. Gratitude helps to connect with our spiritual natures.
I am very spiritual and want to be of service. My life has meaning for me. It is not for you nor anyone else to judge me, nor anyone else.
I don't judge men who don't want to marry. Men should not judge me for not wanting to marry either.
It is a better use of time to love yourself + your family/friends, show gratitude for what you have, give back to your community, and then mind your own business.
Remember: Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Yep - for men marriage is the worst thing they can do. For women it's the best thing they can do as they can't lose.

I am a woman who is very happy. I am a feminist. To me, this means that I support women being able to make choices in her life. In so many places in the world, women do not have any choices. They are raised to be breeding servants.
I also love men. Love them.
But I like being free to do my art. I chose not to have kids. I don't want to live with anyone, except myself.
I can have sex anytime I want. But I choose to share myself only when there is a deep connection, with men who love women.
A lot of men here at glp hate women for some reason.
Why are so many of you men so judgmental and controlling of women? Is it because you are single, lonely and sexually frustrated? Why do you care how other people choose to live their lives? If they are making free choices, then it should be no concern of yours. It is not like women in middle eastern countries who are covered from head to toe because men can't control their own lust (so women have to pay the price.)
I agree that men get the short end of the stick in some situations (eg: custody etc.) But overall, women still have a much worse time around the world.
If men don't want to marry, that is fine. Let them be free to choose their own destiny. If women don't want to marry, that is ok too.
Some people are too attached to old ways of doing things. If you follow your heart (while hurting none), mind your own business, and act with integrity, your choices should work out ok.
