Under the facade of the following:

"We've detected unusual activity on your account. To immediately restore access to your account, choose how to verify your account. "

I see this as bullshit, i mean, unusual activity? C'mon..

Now, Google has asked for my number every now and then when i try to access my Gmail.

I don't see why they NEED my number and to be honest, i don't really want to give it to them.

The annoying thing is most of those places seem to recognize skype numbers and get all huffy about it "no, we want your REAL number" as if I can be bothered to have a "REAL" number. I'm already annoyed that there are people in the stone age still that require me to keep a damn skype number just so they can call once a year.
