On the other hand, gold is fucked.. it is going to swan dive at least 50% when people realize they can't eat it, or really do anything with it.

Short term, they are probably both going to give pain. Once the markets go down too much, the fed will do QE3 and the shit will be off to the races.

If you had 200 coins of silver before a crash, you still have 200 coins of silver after the crash. It's a store of wealth.

What many people fail to realize is if the entire system collapses, you can't eat it, and a can of pork & beans may have been the wiser investment. If it gets as bad as I think it will, you'll have so many people die off, the weak, the medicated, the unprepared, that you can probably walk around collecting whatever they left behind, and silver isn't going to have a lot of value in a collapsed society either.

Yep, I believe they are trying to shake people down for their silver. Drive them to unemployment, then kick them off, then destroy silver demoralize them, and collect all the metal they stashed away for a rainy day whenever they are desperate to sell, or scared that it could go down further.

Any true metal investor knows not to play the game, but to just keep stacking.

Silver traders have always suspected that Naked shorting has occurred in the gold and silver markets.
