Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2280033 On the other hand, gold is fucked.. it is going to swan dive at least 50% when people realize they can't eat it, or really do anything with it. Short term, they are probably both going to give pain. Once the markets go down too much, the fed will do QE3 and the shit will be off to the races. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 16107099 United States 05/16/2012 04:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What many people fail to realize is if the entire system collapses, you can't eat it, and a can of pork & beans may have been the wiser investment. If it gets as bad as I think it will, you'll have so many people die off, the weak, the medicated, the unprepared, that you can probably walk around collecting whatever they left behind, and silver isn't going to have a lot of value in a collapsed society either. Just a theory. |

Drive them to unemployment, then kick them off, then destroy silver demoralize them, and collect all the metal they stashed away for a rainy day whenever they are desperate to sell, or scared that it could go down further. Any true metal investor knows not to play the game, but to just keep stacking. |

I'll be here well after the summer.... Because NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN.. How many years have there been pronouncements of doom? This whole fake crisis is a scam, to separate doomers from their money (gold and silver), and the market (keep mom and pop investors out while the smart money cleans up). This is a $15 trillion dollar economy. It's not going to roll over just because you want it to. Even the food stamp and unemployment shills are way off the mark. Food stamp usage has gone up because the system is being gamed..plain and simple..same with the unemployment extensions... |

Just a theory. funny how the bum fucks talk about "you can't eat it." I know my stocks and bonds taste good with mustard. Either way, I'll keep on buying. I picked up 10 maples yesterday. It doesn't take more than 20 iq points to see that the paper price of both metals is a farce. I find it telling that central banks are buying gold with both hands, now the IMF announced they are buying several tons. |

ZAZZFAILFUCKSTICK, are you saying that we are headed for a "Mad Max" situation?? I thought you are certain we are currently proceeding through a complete economic recovery..... I have but one question for you, ZAZZFAILFUCKSTICK - will gold/silver be completely valueless anytime soon? I have a little information for everyone else who keeps saying "DERPITY DERP YOU CAN'T EAT SILVER/GOLD DUMMY!!!".... most of those who have bought gold/silver already have their food and water and ammo stored up as well. Gold and silver are just the icing on the proverbial cake. |

Silver traders have always suspected that Naked shorting has occurred in the gold and silver markets. I think the audience on this thread can see the implications of this development on PMs and the market in general... |
