What is truth?
In my view, there are multiple truths. My truth, your truth, our truth and the (absolute) Truth.

1.) My truth is the sum total of my collected life experience, that is memories, my individual and unique point of focus, and my individual (and unique) goals, intuition, aspirations, desires and wishes.

2.) Your truth is the sum total of your collected life experience, that is memories, your individual and unique point of focus, and your individual (and unique) goals, intuition, aspirations, desires, and wishes.

3.) Our truth is the truth of a particular group. Men and women join together in groups to realize a common goal. Our truth is the sum total of the collective goals, desires and ideas of our group, the rules of our group, that is what a group member can do or say (he hopefully is free to think whatever) and can't do or say, the rules of a group are usually created by the founders of that group, and of the individual truths of the members of that group.

4.) The absolute Truth is an ideal, men and women strife for but can never reach. The (absolute) Truth cannot be altered by a man or woman.

Re: What is truth?
The quest for absolute truth is the quest for God and to become as God it is the nature of many cultures and helps civilization to develop and grow.

The absolute Truth

"Absolute" means "the whole" truth. Not partial. Non-dual.

... nothing particular. Spirit.

You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. John 3:8

Re: What is truth?
truth get subjective when observed = many original realizations

not long ago i followed my thoughts and reasoning about our HISTORY down here on Earth
..it has very much in common with the absolute truth you are seeking

very subjective, even on larger scales
only thing which can be both, subjective and objective at once, would be then only LOVE! unconditional, unbound, not as an emotion, but as a style of life (as an approach)

Re: What is truth?
how does 'the Truth' relate to the stuff in this thread:

Thread: Hello Gods and Goddesses

for example

Hello aaaaaa. English is not your first language?

Let me see if I can answer some of your questions and thank you for asking them.

Let me start with the fear aspect. Fear is the tool with which the archon/annunaki minions, control almost everyone here in this existance. Fear is their greatest weapon. If you keep some soul living in a constant state of fear, then they are very easily controlled and manipulated.

Fear of 'god', going to hell. Fear of losing your job, your home, your ability to feed and clothe yourself. Fear of illness. Fear of war, rape, death. Fear for your children. Yes. Everything in this realm is controlled by fear.

Fear = False evidence appearing real.

There is a saying that I really like. Face a fear, and the death of that fear is certain. I do not know who penned it. But they are very wise words.

The thing you need to remember, is that this existance is not real. It appears real. You can see, hear, smell, taste, touch, and sense. BUT it is a holographic reality. A prison. A sims-like computer generated reality that is projected into your mind. It is not real.

And you are correct. Most people here act 'on commands' from the program. Every one here is controlled, some to a greater and some to a lesser degree. IT is the way it currently is. Not for much longer though.

The machine is dying, now, this minute. It is dying, but it will take a while for the results to filter through to this realm of the machine.

Hang in there and listen to your inner knowing, the one that lead you to ask these questions.

Continue to question, everything. Including what I am telling you. IF it resonates within your heart and soul, then you know it is a truth. If it does not, then simply move on you have lost nothing.

It will make no difference to the machine dying and all the trapped souls in it being freed. That is going to happen. None will be left behind.

That is a promise from me. NONE left behind.

It is not possible for anyone to experience the Truth unless one becomes truthful himself.

You became things.
So in this place you see everything (in the world) and do not see yourself, but in that place you do see themselves. Like the story of the ‘tenth man’ thought as lost, but it is actually yourself; for you missed to count yourself! (Šrí Nisargadatta Maharaj)

thats right very good.

i personally, i have to find my own truth. i focused too much on a seemingly objective truth.

although i have awareness of absolute truth.

but how can i know if that which i label as absolute truth is absolute Truth?

i have to talk to others and ask what they see as absolute truth.

maybe like a puzzle game.

We, as humanity, will only realize the absolute truth, when we put ALL our perspectives on absolute Truth together.

Re: What is truth?
The truth is something, which happens.
It can be love, which is happening always, and it can be something else. Everything which happens is truth.
Only ideas can be not true. If they are not happening, there is no truth, but only a law, the a priori.
So, a lie can be a priori. But not a posteriori.

Truth is the certainty of recognizing reality. Reality is what emanates from the Creation.

The opposite of truth are imaginations and delusions of a god, many gods, idols, daemons, devils, Santa Claus, etc.
