My strawberry plants are getting a sort of reddish looking "burn" on their leaves, which I've never seen before. I live in Idaho, and hear there can sometimes be radon in the soil out here. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but it's definately not bugs. I know what bug damage looks like. BTW, the pics you posted are not from bugs or caterpillars. That would just look like something had been munching on them. Your pics are totally different.

Fungus that kills avocado trees turns up in South FloridaA strangler is stalking the avocado trees of South Florida, threatening backyard trees as well as thousands of acres of commercial groves.

Laurel wilt disease has turned up in Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties, and experts say it will almost certainly reach Broward County. The disease swiftly chokes the life from trees in the laurel family by destroying their tubular systems for transporting water and nutrients. The trees include redbay, swamp bay and avocado.

The disease, carried by a beetle smaller than a grain of rice, was discovered February in redbay trees at the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in Palm Beach County. This week, the Florida Department of Agriculture announced it had been discovered in an avocado grove in southernMiami-Dade County, home to the second largest avocado crop in the United States.

That looks like some sort of chemical damage. Some of my porch plants are showing leaf damage like that too.

Do you get chem trails there? Its killing plant life here in AZ and likely everywhere they spray. All you have to do is pay $150 to get a license to spray the air..........no regulations for what you spray. We stay inside when they spray and the rain that often follows is poison. Our garden didn't even sprout this year! There is a guy here in AZ setting up a lawsuit because several people have heavy metal poisoning as a result. Best case scenario is that it contains aluminum and barium and is for weather modification - but what about AZ weather needs to be modified, we have all debunked the whole global warming (its normal!) crap, and well, we also know that aluminum and barium is harmful so....

If "they" kill our crops, we will be forced to eat Monsanto GMO food. Just dandy!

Okay, on a serious note. That looks like some type of leaf burn. have seen it happen from chemical applications or too much sun exposure.

The earlier pic of your rose leaves appears to be black spot mold. It is usually much worse if the weather has bee quite wet, cloudy, cool & with poor air circulation around the plants. Can also occur due to overhead watering.

From a conspiracy standpoint, the burned leaves on your tree concern me far more than the black spot on the roses.

OBTW, my honeybees are going gangbusters this year collecting pollen and making honey like it is the end of the world. Hmmmmm ..............

This is Anthracnose, a fungal disease that attack Sycamores. I have a 80-year old sycamore that drops its leaves every May because of this disease. The leaves grow back by July, in time for enough photosynthesis to occur to keep the tree alive. Every Sycamore in PA I've seen has this disease right now.

I am no expert on this subject matter but my gut is telling me that it could be related to a local hole in the magnetosphere perhaps resulting in increased solar radiation hitting your area/region.

Aside from the plant life can you think of any effects that you might see other individuals reporting that they are feeling that could be tied to increase solar radiation leaking through to your immediate area?
 Quoting: ANHEDONIC

yea that's what an older gentleman in my area was telling me.

he thinks its one of 3 things.

1. Solar Rad.
2. Rad. from furk.
3. chem. spraying.
 Quoting: ~Jay~

My intuition tells me 'solar' but like I said, I don't study these subject matters so I'm just going off my instincts and nothing else. I have heard mentions of there being isolated holes in the magnetosphere and that perhaps being the culprit for various anomalies occurring such as mass bird die offs and also even sinkholes.

The bark and outer skin of the leaves is similar to our skin, if you poke a hole in it that leaf will die. If the fungus gets into the trunk of the tree, the whole thing dies.
