Also, baked into the package is a hefty profit guarantee (they are allowed to surcharge a fixed percentage of the cost of care, but with no upper limit on the cost of care, so they have every incentive to continue escalating health care costs since that will increase the value of their 15%) There are obviously others. Obama had to get doctors and nurses on his side, which he largely did, as well as all the medical associations. |
