so much pressure is on Facebook to do well, that if it flops, it will be the last nail in the coffin of this market

good job OP. I knew this was coming pulled everything out of the markets 1 year ago. Money markets,IRA's, college funds, etc. If you don't know whats going down then you'll be so lost when it comes down. Prepare people like I've been saying for years. Food, water, ammo, PM's, guns. Buy things now which will be hard to buy when it comes carshing down.

if you don't know how....stay out....take your money out of the bank and put it in a safe place...

if this tanks...all the banks will close their doors...remember THEY OWN YOUR ACCOUNT...YOU DO NOT. if they lock their doors...your money is locked in with them...

take your account down to pennies...keep the cash in your possession till this passes....

only the honest banks will survive...remember banks use your balance and leverage it 1000 times and invest it in the stock market......if you pull the table out from under them......they suffer the loss and not you.

I bought yesterday, I'm not too worried long term but curious as to your take on what will happen short term.

FB and every comment, picture and like it, you put on there is being watched closely by goobermint officials and police.

you have maybe a month....start getting self sufficient...pretend you are going camping far away from
everyone...what will you need? those are the things you need to stock up on....be prepared...figure out how to get around surviving without electricity...i don't think it will get that bad...but you never know what the electric companies are invested in.....

you have obviously never been in a stock when it's "pumped and dumped".....when that high falls off...it's panic sell........you have to watch it like a hawk or you lose ...i was in a stock that went from $64 to $5 in less than 30 minutes, my sell order got bypassed several times....if you don't know what you are doing....you best not even get in the market....the computer trades will run over you like lighting......

keep your money in your pants pocket....the market if RIGGED to steal every penny you investors GIVE THEM....do not invest in FB or you will lose every penny you give them.

get out of the market....get all your money out of 401Ks....whatever institution has your money...believe me when i tell you they are investing your balance...if they crash...you lose everything you thought was safe....

closing the markets won't solve the problem...jpmc is into a silver short wherein there isn't enough real silver to back up his silver short...

jpmc is into the bond market for 200B....a bet on 'nothing' real...jpmc is selling to itself trying to attrack buyers...they are so in over their head...this bank will fail...if you have an account with jpmc....close it...refinance with a regional bank or a member-owned credit union...remember all your loans will be foreclosed upon...for jpmc will take your property against their loan-for cash when they fail.....

We all are aware of the pros and cons with investing in stocks. for the most part, people just pluck their monies into some seconded rate mutual fund. These funds seem to be in 401k's, 403b's, states pensions funds.

Most people lack the desire and willingness to learn the markets. Too many are intimidated by the fundamentals, the choices and of course afraid of losing their investment.

The days of making it with the market are long over, tecks bubble burst in the late 90's - early 2000's, next the financials crashed in the mid late 2000's. this alone scared many small investors.

Since the government in conjunction with the banks decided that the only way the market will stabilize is to make all small investors invest in stock mutual funds, since any and all bank rates, MM accounts, CD's and every other interest rated options pay next to nil.

The only hope to make any type of return is invest in mutual funds or individual stocks. These too have burned many small investors, we as the average American can only hope to survive the coming financial bloodbath.

With the government forcing 401k administrators to accept certain bonds funds with a no trading clause disallowing any monies removed from that fund into a completing fund for 90 days. Basically forcing the monies into a MM fund paying .001% for an extended period before allowed to try a completing fund.

And we thought we were free to invest in what we want, this happened with my 401k, one bond fund was removed and replaced with a bond fund loaded with mortgages.

The same ones that brought down the banks are forced fed to the American public, if you are required to invest with in a 401k. Some companies like the one I work for has an automatic enrollment with zero options of staying free and clear of the 401k.

Time to make up another silly market like CLIMATE CHANGE the latest invention to plunder wealth. Lets see, hmmm, any guess on the latest one? How about human race protection?

Just printed it out to read and agree the market is over valued but Im no expert. There is way to much cash circulating in the market and really nothing was fixed from 08' so will it happen again...sure! They should have let the chips fall back then so we could get out of it by now but no they bleed the freak (us) to a slow death.

That also means your 401K will become worthless in the blink of an eye..

these are trades that are carried "off books" it is a "synthetic debt"...a naked shorted trade ...a bet on "nothing"....they still owe the cash...this is the 2B trade JMPC got caught in...that is just the tip of the iceberg...they can't 'swap' their air bets to anyone ...there are no buyers....all the too big to fail banks have leveraged their clients accounts to 1000 percent and traded money that simply does not exist...now they are stuck with that trade and can't get out of it...they will fail..there isn't enough money on the earth to cover this hedge of $700T they owe.

the dollars still spend ...in the usa...the reason to get your money out of the banks is so they can't keep your balance from you when they lock their doors...

keep your money in your possession....be your own banker..
many folks in their 30's i know of have their own stockpile of cash in their possession....they got screwed over in 2008, lost there 401k retirement ..so they do not trust the banks...their retirement fund is in their safe..not the banks.

it never hurts to have spendable silver and gold coins...go to a gold and silver pawn shop and buy up spendable coins if you can find them....honestly, i think the government will end the federal reserve before the crash...the hearings with Dimon are June 5th...congress is well aware of the tsunami coming on the horizon...i am believing they will go to a new financial monetary system...a us treasury bill backed by gold/silver and metals before they let the federal reserve board crash the market.

also, 2 days ago the senate voted in 2 new board members for the federal reserve board...i suspect their will be a board member meeting with a new vote for chairman and Dimon will be voted out as chairman real soon...those 2 new board members have a job to do....inspect dimon's trades

I have been saying this for 2 years to my friends. We are reliving what happened after the crash of 1929. Either this year or next the market will bottom again, except this time it will not come roaring back.

We also have to look at the consequences of this. Remember WW2? It is getting ready to happen again with Iran being the focal point. This is the only way to reset the system. The losers get screwed and the spoils go to the victors. Bear in mind most of that generation (WW2) are dead and gone now so no one remembers the horror of world war. Get ready folks this is going to be a bumpy rough ride for the next 8-10 years.
