Whether it is China or some other malevolent massive hacker or even our own sun, one of these days all of our wonderful technology is going to just stop working. The computers won't boot, the cell phones won't call, the TV stations won't broadcast, and the light switch won't turn the lights on anymore. None of it existed just a few decades ago and now our lives depend on it all working seemlessly.

We are so fragile and dependent and yet so arrogantly defiant. Mankind survived just fine for thousands of years without one volt of electricity and now most people don't even have the first clue how to grow their own food or build their own shelters. The world's top predator has become a paper tiger in a self made cage of ignorance. Boy have we got a big wake up call coming some day.
