Girlfriend: Trayvon was scared, ran from man, Zimmerman (with concealed gun) stalked him

Aside from this story having gotten so incredibly boring months ago, the girlfriend's testimony is going to be irrelevant to the case at hand. The charge is second degree murder which requires both the intent to kill and a reasonable expectation that your actions will lead to the death of the intended person. The phone call, by her own admission, cut off moments before the actual physical altercation took place. She has no way of knowing who threw the first punch, and why. Zimmerman will walk because of the overzealous DA trying to make a name for herself. Murder 2 was, and is, a ludicrous charge in this case.

yea but it at least shows that zimmerman was STILL the pursuant, unlike what he claimed. given that zimmerman is clearly lying about how he and trayvon came together during the altercation (trayvon was on the way back to his father's house while he's walking towards zimmerman?) what reason do we have to say he's not lying about who threw the first blow (especially given that the only person qualified to testify was shot and killed)?

Moral of this story...don't do drugs if you are planning on wandering out in the rain by yourself while looking in apartment windows, scoping out your future robbery victims. At least keep your mind clear - paranoia kills. :)

It really boils down to who struck first, or who provoked the situation to justify striking first.

From the evidence I see, it's clear Zimmerman either struck first, or provoked the situation.

Under Florida's all hailed "Stand Your Ground" law, Trayvon would have been justified in standing his ground against a provoker with a gun.
