The money that is wasted on wars and other bullshit is a LOT MORE than what is being spent on food stamps. You can't have this discussion honestly without bringing up what is spent on war. I do not agree with people who know how to play the system. But until the economy improves, there are going to be people who cannot support themselves. I have NO CHILDREN, by choice and will never have any. I've never been on food stamps or welfare and have received no government handouts, I've worked my entire life. No, I don't relish having a large chunk of my paycheck taken away at the point of a gun to support other people. It makes my quality of life much worse. But until these bastards at the top stop the fraud, waste and abuse, food stamps is not the place to start cutting first. First or last it is still abuse of our money.
