Hurricane-Tsunami Dream I had one month ago... Connected to Biblical Tsunami Warning for May 20th?

I was in a 2 or 3 story house with two or three of my immediate relatives. We were on the top floor in front of a tv watching the news. There was a live helicopter camera and a weather map side by side. There was the red banner on the bottom of the screen with a big "Hurricane BREAKING NEWS" message on it.

When I looked out the window, I realized I wasn't in california. It looked like I was in Florida or Hawaii. It was most likely Hawaii because of the topography. I could see expensive homes on the neighboring hillsides and mountains. There were lots of palm trees and similar lush vegetation. We began to see waves crashing into the coast.

The strangest thing was that the crashing waves were creating deep, artillery-like booms. It sounded like those those 2,000 pound bombs that were dropped on Baghdad when the war started. The crashing waves produced massive sprays of water into the air whenever they hit an elevated point on the coast. The booms and echoing rumblings began to shake the house we were in, and things began to fall and windows began to break.

I saw the water racing onto the land like a tsunami. I saw how the little villas on the lower hillsides were swept away in broad daylight. Though the tsunami had still not reached me, some of the wave crashes were so large that I felt water droplets hit my face. That was the last thing I remember.
Why was there a Hurricane warning? What I saw in the dream looked nothing like a Hurricane, it looked like a tsunami on a clear day, in broad daylight. From the live weather radar map on the tv it showed a Hurricane out at sea, but what hit us in that house was a tsunami.

I have never lived or even been to Hawaii (or Florida), and I live in Sacramento, CA. I just can't find any logical connection in my own life that would explain why I had this dream. I have never felt such vivid fear in a dream. I can still hear and feel those incredibly loud booms... Its been bothering me ever since, and after searching for anyone who had a similar dream on youtube I began googling until I found this video on godlikeproductions on the (Biblical Tsunami Warning for May 20, 2012?) thread.
