When I looked out the window, I realized I wasn't in california. It looked like I was in Florida or Hawaii. It was most likely Hawaii because of the topography. I could see expensive homes on the neighboring hillsides and mountains. There were lots of palm trees and similar lush vegetation. We began to see waves crashing into the coast.

I saw the water racing onto the land like a tsunami. I saw how the little villas on the lower hillsides were swept away in broad daylight. Though the tsunami had still not reached me, some of the wave crashes were so large that I felt water droplets hit my face. That was the last thing I remember...
