...What I learned during NDEs. I was informed that I was being taught so much because as a child, I was essentially a 'blank slate'. I had realized in my previous life that I pretty much knew absolutely nothing, and so I entered without preconceptions. During those time periods, and believe me when I say they seemed like eternity, yet they ended all too soon; I was taught a lot of things. Too bad being silent wasn't one of them. Quoting: Sandi_T Impressive . . . are there other unique things you can share . . . something you have not heard or read from other sources . . . Quoting: George B Oh my, yes I had a NDE as a young child, and then again as a young adult. Yes, they are real and I know the experience can be drug induced...but it cannot come close to the real thing! Quoting: settle4it settle4it , Could you share some details about your NDEs . . .what did it teach you. . . .?? Quoting: George B The NDE that happened in my early 20's was very positive. I knew I was dying, the accident had caused so much blood loss...I remember being in the OR, and looking at the nurse as she tried to find a vein for the IV...I asked her if I was going to die. I remember she looked at me and kept saying NO, you hear me? NO! At that point I recall being in a lush green forest, just walking around looking at the flowers and wildlife. I then heard a female voice speak to, asking me if I wanted to stay here...at first I did. It was so peaceful, I had never felt so at home as I did there. I turned toward the voice and could see my two young children. It was like their lives were going in fast forward, I was watching them grow up w/o me. Things turned out ok for them, except they lost site of who they were, and where they came from. I told the voice I wanted to come back. The voice was kind, and before I knew it I was back...back in the OR with the nurse saying "Welcome back! I thought we lost you for good!"
