There were actually two earthquakes back-to-back, a 6.0 and 6.3 less than 60 miles from the Fukushima power plant earlier today, and there have been numerous quakes in the same area today and yesterday. Some are saying that the eclipse will pass over the Fukushima plant. I'd never heard Nostradamus' prediction regarding today, but it is curious:

Sun twentieth of Taurus the earth will tremble very mightily.
It will ruin the [great heater] filled:
To darken and [trouble air], sky and land
Then the infidel will call upon God and saints.

Great Heater = Fukushima reactors?
Trouble Air = Radioactive air?

I try to maintain a reasonable balance between "conspiracy theorist" and skeptic, and I always seek to steer clear of fearmongering, but there are a number of real issues with potentially grave outcomes in our world today...

I've seen on other threads where they are now trying to back pedal with things like "we didn't say there'd be doom, we just said the day would be special, in an undetectably esoteric kind of way." Whatever.
