The run bank last week in Spain involved a bank that was nationalized due to housing bubble problems. Not strictly related with current situation.

But seems that there are many fear mongers around pushing for it to happen.

France may nationalize Caisse Centrale Credit Immobilier de France, one of its largest mortgage lenders, the Sunday Times reported, citing unidentified people with knowledge of the matter.
A purchase of CCCIF by a competitor may be another option and HSBC Holdings Plc (HSBA) has been asked to find a buyer, the newspaper said.
Calls by Bloomberg News to the offices of CCCIF and its parent company CIFD today went unanswered.

if you want to withdraw more than 250 euro in cash from my local credit agricole branch you have to place an order for it to be delivered three weeks in advance. and then you have to go there tuesday 2.30pm - 6pm or thursday 9.30 am -12pm (the weekly opening hours) to collect it, after you produce three forms of id and give a reason why you want so much cash money. best bring a priest and judge to be on the safe side.
