Only 5pm there. Last night it took until dark when things got heated. I bet we see a cop car on fire by 7pm. These protestors are in for a bad bad ride. Chicago PD is not like NYPD or Seattle PD. Chicago cops are crazy thugs in a hard city. sad for everyone really...

Sure we will, city hall has one of the coolest green space roofs in the country. Nobody would miss the politicians that burnt up in the fire below but that'd be a shame to lose the garden.

City of Chicago website hit by possible cyberattack

..THE City of Chicago website experienced a possible cyberattack overnight, the opening day of the NATO summit in the Windy City.
The attack was not confirmed, but the site
cityofchicago.org
was intermittently down throughout the day. The FBI's cyber crimes division is investigating, according to FOX News Channel.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's press office said it was "aware of the issue with the city's website."
Emanuel spokesman Peter Scales told FOX that there were "many federal agencies working on it at this point."
A spokesperson for the FBI's Chicago office had no comment.
On the website cyberwarnews.info, a group of hackers claiming to be connected to the online collective Anonymous said Sunday that they were "actively engaged in actions against the Chicago Police Department" and its websites.
The hackers' statement said the public information website chicagopolice.org had been taken down by a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, but NewsCore was able to access the site yesterday afternoon.
In a YouTube video posted alongside the statement, the group said the attacks were in retaliation for the police department's treatment of protesters at the NATO summit in Chicago.
It was not immediately known if the possible attack on the City of Chicago website was connected to the alleged targeting of Chicago Police Department sites.
The summit began amid clashes between police and large groups of activists protesting the gathering of world leaders, including US President Barack Obama.
