Slice up a head of cabbage. Mix ramen seasoning packet with oil, sugar and a little vinegar. Mix in bowl. Crumble dried noodles on top. Add sliced almonds and mandarin oranges, if you like. |

Another really good option is to get the bag of clamshell pasta and cook it in a pan with butter until it's brown then open a can of red tomato paste and add water, garlic, pepper, salt and some oregano....trust me you will love it and make sure you add lemon or lime juice when it's done cooking. |

Often they're served with cilantro, fish sauce (used in Thai cooking for dishes like Basil Beef), pea pods, chopped garlic, sambals, shrimp, chicken, red pepper, red cabbage, artichokes, etc. I think you'll like them better than ramen. They absorb the flavors well. Ramen is so salty with that seasoning mix, so I'd simply ditch that. Google rice noodle salad for lots of ways to use them or substituting ramen. Also google rice noodle wraps. A good vermicelli either fresh or a decent brand like Barilla can be used to make Don Don Noodles. It's simply the noodles cooked al dente and making a sauce of soy, pressed garlic, red pepper flakes or sambal, and sesame oil (adds a smokiness and calories). This is a popular dish in China. |

Y'all better rethink this Ramen "noodle" thing. Even after two hours, these so called noodles remain whole and not digested. This is because it contains large amounts of a preservative called TBHQ-which is related to Butane!!!! (Seriously) See digestion video here: [link to www.wpix.com] |
