Sunspots would make it brighter, not darker. These are PX moons and people have been commenting about them on message boards." sunspots are BRIGHTER than THE SUN |

Why don't you "note" that the anecdotal reports supporting Nancy's story aren't accompanied by solid evidence? The fluff Nancy presents as "proof" would only fool the most gullible and uneducated. Example: The absurd idea that sunspots should be BRIGHTER than the rest of the sun. |

You actually believe that anybody with a brain capable of independent thought would use GLP as a barometer for truth? I simply said it was noted by others. Astromut was caught on record editing the thread he was occupying last night, altering the place names he said the eclipse definately wouldn't be, then editing it after the fact it had appeared! Who to believe? There is no doubt that some people were off, as were times and locations. |

Astromut was caught on record editing the thread he was occupying last night, altering the place names he said the eclipse definately wouldn't be, then editing it after the fact it had appeared! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8989938 So you are claiming that the eclipse didn't appear as predicted? If so, please "note" what was off SPECIFICALLY. S-P-E-C-I-F-I-C-A-L-L-Y! If you are trying to uphold Nancy's absured claim that Earth is abnormally "wobbling", all you have to do is take a timelapse series of images of Polaris showing it to be wildly out of the center of rotation of the northern sky. None of this marginal alleged anomoly- it would be completely OBVIOUS if Earth was wobbling. O-B-V-I-O-U-S!! Who to believe? There is no doubt that some people were off, as were times and locations. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8989938 You mean you have accepted Nancy's latest distortions of data as "fact". Did you "note", about a month ago, when Nancy was caught editing existing Zetatalk, after the fact, to correct Zeta screw-ups? Why would you give her a pass on something like that? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8989938 Osaka was right on the line; I didn't check to see how close it was to the eclipse. Depending on where you were in Osaka, it either would or wouldn't be seen as annular. I was only spot checking locations, but observer to observer it would depend on exact location. Don't like it? Too bad. [link to en.es-static.us] I notice my detractor shut the hell up after I posted that map. Figures. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8989938 This thread is pretty convincing: [link to poleshift.ning.com] Right.... tidbits like this: "These are not sunspots, which would in any case not show up as DARK spots on the face of the Sun. These are Moons of Planet X! As obvious and nearly as large as any anticipated or past transit of Venus! Thus overall, the lunar eclipse of May 20-21, 2012 provided proof of the Earth wobble, evidence of glow of sunlight bouncing off the vast red dust cloud of Planet X, and a dramatic appearance of the Moons of Planet X against the face of the Sun." Contrary to all understanding of sunspots acquired from observations over hundreds of years, the Ningers declare that sunspots should be BRIGHTER than the rest of the solar surface! And it STAYS posted there as if it's factual information! Hilarious!!!! |
Menow User ID: 1394150 United States 05/21/2012 01:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If this is the case, then why do you still oppose it so vehemently after all these years? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8989938 If it's so obviously hoax, let it go. It's clearly not obvious to some people. Hence the repeated debunking when the bunk continually gets repeated over and over and over and over and over and over again... |

So, therefore it isn't so obvious and their must be some evidence to support it, if it still has believers despite repeated debunking spanning years. Either the debunking hasn't been effective enough, or it's true. |
