I haven't read all the posts yet. I'm wondering if they were charged with reckless endangerment or something like that. It can't be the first time the father did something like this. And despite the scare, bet he'll do it again. truthwillsetyoufreeagain User ID: 14931439 United States 05/21/2012 10:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Okay the guy put him in there as a joke, MOST dryers do not have auto locking capability and NO FUCKING WAY TO OPEN THE FUCKING THINGS. Quoting: HeebyGeebies Seriously. The issue to be mad about here.... WHAT the fuck do we need washers and dryers that LOCK and then don't let you open them again? My dad bought brand new washer and dryer for his new house and when I put in a load and realized I had forgot something, the fucking thing would NOT open. ???? the fuck is the point of that? This shit is dangerous. How many of us have heard stories of kids we knew hiding int he washer or dryer? I know of two that did it during hide and seek. Imagine the fucking thing started and locked them in? It's too fucking horrendous to think about. Thank god this child made it out safe, with his parents aware of what was happening. But what about the kid who crawls in the dryer during Hide and Seek? That is what is scary. You don't put a kid in a dryer as a "joke." He's a little kid. Just how traumatizing must it have been just to be put in a dryer and the door being closed by your father. Parents need to watch their kids at home and make sure there aren't any hazards the child could get involved in. It's really not all that difficult but unfortunately to some it is or they just don't care. BTW, that wasn't a dryer. There is no need to have an automatic lock on a dryer. On a washing machine in a public laundry, yes, there is a reason. But parents aren't supposed to be so stupid and careless. I just realized something. The machine would't start unless there is money that was put in prior. You are absolutely right - you don't put your CHILD in any danger as a fuckin' joke. This really makes me angry. |

Something they wish they never did and they would never do again. If I worked for social services or I was a cop and watched that video, I would want to first know that the child was ok, then I would want to know if those parents understood what they did was wrong. When that was confirmed, I would go look for some real criminals or parents who would deliberately hurt their child. Case closed. |

I'm more angry with the machine not the user. Sure its unfortunate the machine started on the guy but you can tell by watching the video that wasn't the guys intentions. Also he's just playing around being a bit silly, he might not be the most intelligent guy but you can tell he loves his kid, If this machine never started and the father pulled the kid out after a few seconds then I'm sure the kid wouldn't have cared about being placed in to the machine, he's to young to realise. Where's the OFF switch for these machines?? |
