I was thinking about this as I was reading. What if his wording of "must go into the sea" was used for this reason.
It would take a massive evacuation, and I'm not sure how much damage it would do to the ocean, but I doubt they would do it.

as long as the Cooling is working as long
is the Fuel safe!

And even when the Fuel is outside as long

will happen!

Oh, don't kid yourself. I know about the structural damage, the cracks, the corrosion of rebar from the seawater used for cooling in the first stages of the accident remediation[that isn't so great for the strength and stability of the concrete structures], the 2058 earthquakes since 3.11.11. What else? The holes in the containment vessels from melt-through.. allowing the tepco water brigade to contaminate the ocean..

The foundation cracks from the earthquakes on 3.11.11 which are allowing groundwater to accumulate in the basements..

This comes from a web-site called offgridsurvival.com. Forgive me if I hold out for something with a little more credibility.

The only temporary solution for this is to plant atomic demolition charges around a suitable perimeter to the reactors, and blow them out into the sea, and down the Japan Shelf, into the depths.

This will, of course, kill the oceans, but might give us 50 years to a century to figure out some more effective remediation.

Still, better to submerge this horrible shit in thousands of feet of seawater, than have it vapourized and blowing around the planet, on the wind.
